Assistant Professor of Specialty Dental Medicine

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Specialty Dental Medicine to join our faculty at Lincoln Memorial University's College of Dental Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching pre-doctoral students in comprehensive general dentistry, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct pre-doctoral students in simulation laboratory, didactic, and clinic settings
- Prepare and teach pre-clinical general dentistry
- Cover pre-doctoral students in the clinical setting
- Ensure students are competent in managing patients requiring all disciplines of dentistry
- Participate in faculty practice, preclinical/clinical instruction, and emergency call
- Engage in community service with students/residents
- Conduct basic and/or clinical research and scholarly activities
- Support College operations and initiatives
- DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited institution
- Minimum 15 years of private practice experience
- 5 years teaching experience
- AEGD, GPR, or Specialty training preferred
- Forensic Fellowship Certification preferred
- Eligibility for dental licensure in Tennessee
