Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical duties, and scientific scholarship.
Key Responsibilities- Teach the skills and approaches of Osteopathic Manipulation in accordance with the mission of the University, the School, and the Department.
- Provide clinical service and teaching students in the clinical setting.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of courses and academic programs within the LMU-DCOM Knoxville location.
- Participate in scholarly activity and serve as a mentor to medical and other students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- D.O. degree and Board Certification in Primary Care Specialty.
- Able to be licensed in Tennessee within the first-year of hire date by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee Medical State Board.
- Unrestricted Tennessee license and approved medical professional liability insurance must be maintained throughout employment.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership.
- Board Certification in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
