About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards for all patients served.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and the medical staff.
  • Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
  • Serve as a clinical/technical resource for less experienced sonographers.
  • Participate in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a program in diagnostic ultrasound approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Completed equivalent training through self-study, on-the-job training, etc.
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a hospital-based ultrasound technologist.
