As a key member of our healthcare team, the Echocardiograph Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. Under the supervision of the Department Director and Cardiac Cath Lab Manager, this individual performs clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards for all patients served.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cardiac echocardiography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also serve as a customer service representative to patients, their families, and the medical staff, and participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a program in cardiac echocardiography approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
  • National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
  • National Provider BLS American Heart Association upon hire
