Job Summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly skilled FFT CW Kinship Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our family services department, you will work closely with families, kinship caregivers, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive assessments of families and devise individualized service plans in collaboration with the Department of Children and Family Services and other family service providers.
  • Conduct home visits and therapy sessions using the FFT-KC model.
  • Assist family members in devising and implementing FFT-KC service plans and strategies of intervention.
  • Participate in FFT-KC training, consultation, and case conferences, and consult with the FFT-KC Supervisor in providing services based on FFT-KC principles.
  • Perform clinical assessments and case recommendations, provide casework/counseling, crisis intervention, brokerage, and networking advocacy, and coordinate services with other service providers, agencies, and programs.

Requirements:

  • MSW or related Master's Degree with clinical experience and licensure preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree with Master's Degree nearing completion, and 5 years of clinical experience.
  • Strong background in family systems preferred.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, communications skills, and ability to prioritize and multitask while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license that meets The Salvation Army's insurance requirements.
