Role Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Dispatch / Transfer Driver with a valid CDL license who values flexible scheduling. This role involves transporting trucks between our dealerships or to customer terminals. Candidates should possess a positive attitude, a safe driving record with a Class A or B CDL (with air brake endorsement), and excellent time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely pick up and deliver customer units to and from service locations in a timely manner.
  • Transfer Class 6-8 trucks or support vehicles between dealerships or customer sites across designated states.
  • Engage positively with customers to deliver necessary paperwork and information regarding services performed or required.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness in accordance with company standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks as required.
  • Provide shuttle services for customers to nearby accommodations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical examination, and drug screening.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Class B CDL with air brake endorsement; Class A CDL preferred.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Familiarity with commercial vehicle equipment and operational systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing Class 6-8 truck operations.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to lift or move items weighing up to 70 lbs. without assistance.
