Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Device Manager to join our IT team at GovCIO LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, management, and maintenance of all mobile devices within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Mobile Device Management Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain mobile device management (MDM) solutions across the organization to ensure secure and efficient operation of mobile devices.
  • Deploy and Configure Mobile Devices: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of various mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, and other hardware, to ensure they meet the organization's security policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with IT Security Teams: Work closely with IT security teams to ensure all mobile devices meet the organization's security policies and standards.
  • Monitor and Manage Mobile Device Performance: Monitor and manage mobile device performance, including troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to end-users.
  • Enforce Mobile Device Policies: Enforce policies regarding the use, security, and management of mobile devices within the organization.
  • Conduct Regular Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular audits and assessments of mobile devices to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Mobile Device Management Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile device management and recommend improvements to existing processes.
Requirements
  • Experience in Mobile Device Management: Experience in mobile device management or a related IT role.
  • Strong Understanding of MDM Platforms: Strong understanding of MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Operating Systems: Knowledge of mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android, and their enterprise management features.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Security Protocols: Experience with mobile device security protocols, including encryption, VPNs, and remote wipe technologies.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Education and Certifications: 01-M IAT Level II (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc). Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certification in mobile device management or related IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Mobile+).
