This position is an exciting opportunity to join Tradebe Environmental Services as a Maintenance Supervisor. Key Responsibilities- Assign tasks to employees and monitor their activities to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- Supervise the preventive maintenance and repairs of all plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Coordinate major projects, such as shutdowns, to ensure smooth execution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage the organization of the maintenance shop and parts trailer, ensuring all necessary tools and supplies are readily available.
- Oversee mobile equipment maintenance, including forklifts, tracks, and backhoes, and assist the Maintenance Manager in ensuring parts and supplies are in inventory.
- Maintain a working knowledge of plant equipment, including welding and pipe fitting skills.
- Operate and repair plant equipment, as needed.
- Assist in performing daily inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience, with previous management experience preferred.
- Ability to read equipment prints, secure information from OEM manuals, and apply basic mathematical concepts.
- Ability to drive a forklift and complete OSHA lock out/tag out and confined space entry training, as required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Ability to obtain a physician's certification to wear a respirator.
