We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
- Independently perform the functions of direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to assist in developing and implementing an appropriate plan of care.
- Advocate for the patient, representing the concerns of the patient/family and identifying and assisting in resolving ethical and clinical concerns.
- Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters.
- Ensure that Patient Health Information (PHI) is protected and secured at all times.
- Adhere to all infection prevention initiatives.
- Deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Current AHA PALS or ENPC.
- CPI Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Proficient in interpreting EKG.
