POSITION SUMMARY:
This role serves as a key leader within the Sales Associate team, contributing to the overall success of the store by achieving personal sales targets and productivity goals through exceptional customer service while showcasing extensive product knowledge that aligns with the Quay vision and brand.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leadership - 50%
    • Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, engaging with customers and team members to ensure optimal service through effective supervision.
    • Coach and mentor sales associates to promote high performance and productivity.
    • Foster an inclusive team environment and adapt leadership style to manage a diverse group of employees with varying skills and responsibilities.
  • Sales and Customer Service - 50%
    • Achieve personal sales and productivity objectives.
    • Demonstrate the ability to style a wide range of customers with our eyewear and accessories.
    • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple in-store responsibilities while remaining attentive to customer needs.
    • Present a professional and fashion-forward image that reflects the brand.
    • Contribute to maintaining the store's brand image by upholding visual presentation standards.
    • Stay informed about fashion trends, market developments, and product knowledge.
    • Provide feedback on merchandise and customer experiences to store management.
    • Adhere to loss prevention procedures to minimize loss.
    • Complete assigned tasks and projects within designated timelines.
    • Comply with all store maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fashion retail, with some leadership experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver personalized customer service.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and store opening and closing shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements:
This position is based in a retail environment and involves:
  • Standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Stooping and kneeling to handle merchandise, as well as reaching and pulling to stock items.
  • Occasional climbing of ladders or step stools to access merchandise.
  • Lifting items weighing between 5 to 25 lbs regularly, with potential for heavier weights in certain situations.
  • Working an average of 32-40 hours per week.
  • Ability to perform essential functions (with or without accommodation) without posing a direct threat to health and safety.
