We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Corewell Health. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Specialty certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) highly recommended
