Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $56,600 - $85,100, depending on the candidate's experience, education, and skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the procurement of materials, services, and equipment in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of Purchase Requests prior to processing.
- Coordinate product deliveries using knowledge of material planning and engineering processes.
- Analyze competitive bids and proposals from vendors.
- Conduct market research and prepare purchase orders for approved requisitions.
- Validate packing slips and receiving documents against purchase orders.
- Manage open orders and resolve procurement issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement records in compliance with internal and external policies.
- Assist in developing and revising procurement operating procedures.
- Provide updates on procurement status during project meetings.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Manage KanBan materials and make online purchases for supplies.
- Support negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, terms, and delivery timelines.
- Identify and manage aerospace suppliers to enhance quality and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in procurement and contracting is required.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- Ability to adhere to standard operating procedures in an aerospace environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
