Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $56,600 - $85,100, depending on the candidate's experience, education, and skills.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, services, and equipment in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of Purchase Requests prior to processing.
  • Coordinate product deliveries using knowledge of material planning and engineering processes.
  • Analyze competitive bids and proposals from vendors.
  • Conduct market research and prepare purchase orders for approved requisitions.
  • Validate packing slips and receiving documents against purchase orders.
  • Manage open orders and resolve procurement issues.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records in compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Assist in developing and revising procurement operating procedures.
  • Provide updates on procurement status during project meetings.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Manage KanBan materials and make online purchases for supplies.
  • Support negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, terms, and delivery timelines.
  • Identify and manage aerospace suppliers to enhance quality and reduce costs.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in procurement and contracting is required.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Ability to adhere to standard operating procedures in an aerospace environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
