We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our members and guests.
Responsibilities- Maintain the sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment, and kitchen in accordance with department standards.
- Safely and efficiently operate the dish washing machine according to procedure manual.
- Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
- Remove from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken.
- Stock delivered food and non-food items.
- Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes.
- Deep clean the kitchen and equipment.
- Attend all training and department meetings as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Perform all duties in adherence to department standards.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing work.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with fellow team members and guests.
