Senior Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our EKS Clusters team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing integrations with AWS services, such as Amazon GuardDuty and Amazon EMR, to enable unique experiences for AWS customers.
Additionally, you will work on enhancing EKS workflows, including curating cluster insights, surfacing pod-level events for billing and cost analysis workflows, and providing business intelligence for business-level reporting and analysis.
This is an exciting opportunity to operate and engineer systems at scale, provide technical leadership, and influence strategies to delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects that require the work of multiple engineers.
- Own team architecture, providing a system-wide view and design guidance.
- Bring perspective and context for current technology choices and guide future technology choices.
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices on your team.
- Actively coach or mentor multiple other engineers.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $151,300/year to $261,500/year, depending on the location. Additionally, we offer equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
