Position Overview:
As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in establishing cloud environments and managing networking, storage, and virtual networks. We are seeking a seasoned DevOps infrastructure specialist to assist our clients in modernizing their IT frameworks and addressing their most demanding challenges.

Your Role:
In this role at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to oversee server configurations for contemporary cloud solutions. Your skills will be applied within a DevOps framework to provision virtual machines or networks and utilize cloud service providers to enhance our clients' impactful missions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in creating tools and processes to enhance DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, regression testing, monitoring, and release management across environments.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline inefficiencies.
  • Proficient in scripting with languages such as Python, Bash, or Boto3.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies using Ansible and deploying applications on Rancher.
  • Background in developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, including S3 Bucket integration.
  • Ability to devise solutions for complex challenges within a collaborative team setting.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of relevant experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing enterprise cloud-native solutions utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, Terraform, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi flow engineering.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or technology.

Clearance Requirements:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
