Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in an ambulatory setting. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical support to licensed healthcare professionals, assist with administrative tasks, and provide general support to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Support: Assist licensed healthcare professionals with examinations and procedures, prepare laboratory specimens, perform testing, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with Administrative Tasks: Facilitate scheduling, pend medication refills, assist with coverage of in-basket messaging, and perform administrative support responsibilities.
  • Provide General Support: Assist with data collection, documentation, and patient care, including vital signs, patient intake, and wound care.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment.
  • Document and Capture Charges: Document and capture charges for clinical support services rendered within the patient visit.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: None required.
  • Licensure: Medical Assistant Training and current Certification through a recognized national professional association.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, frequently bend/stoop/travel, and lift/push/pull lbs.
