Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineering Intern to join our team at our tech hub in Atlanta. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our data engineering team to design, develop, and implement data science solutions to complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and GCP services
  • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and implement solutions following a microservices architecture
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement within existing processes and tools and contribute ideas to enhance data engineering practices
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Basic proficiency in Python and SQL, with a willingness to enhance those skills
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and a desire to gain expertise in GCP services
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
