We are seeking a skilled Senior Manager to oversee our embedded software division. The Embedded Software Manager will be instrumental in guiding a team of embedded engineers to create robust and dependable solutions with high throughput, focusing on sensing, localization, motion, and actuation of our robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspire, mentor, and motivate a team to deliver high-quality software that aligns with customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Prioritize projects and daily tasks for your team effectively.
  • Provide both technical and strategic direction to your team.
  • Collaborate with electro-mechanical teams to develop integrated solutions.
  • Work alongside Program Management to allocate resources and staff projects.
  • Communicate plans, progress, and requirements clearly to leadership and engineers.
  • Engage with peers to exchange technical solutions and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and advocate for programming best practices.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of technical experience with modern C++ (11/14/17/20), emphasizing object-oriented design and abstraction for real-time embedded platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a diverse team of engineers.
  • Ability to comprehend electro-mechanical robotics platforms and their component interactions.
  • Familiarity with device integration and standard communication protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI, Serial).
  • Experience with real-time operating systems and Linux environments.
  • Strong leadership skills in technical, project, and people management.
  • Proven ability to plan and juggle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to build relationships with internal clients and peer teams.
  • Experience with the Atlassian product suite (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum framework.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
