We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and safety
  • Adjust technical factors to ensure optimal image quality and minimize radiation exposure
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and image quality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CT scanners and other imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and quality control procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
