Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Douglas in Douglasville, Georgia. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Position patients correctly and ensure their safety during the scanning process.
  • Operate CT equipment, including scanners and consoles, to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient scans, including images and reports.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal imaging performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
