About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Finding Candidates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal advice and guidance to support our business initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and provide analysis of laws and regulations relevant to our operations, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
  • Contract Negotiation and Review: Negotiate, draft, and review a wide range of contracts and agreements, ensuring that our interests are protected and our obligations are met.
  • Litigation Support: Assist in litigation matters and provide support to external legal counsel, ensuring that our interests are represented effectively.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Advise on compliance issues, ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies, and assess and manage legal risks within the organization.
  • Document Preparation and Review: Prepare and review legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Due Diligence and Transaction Support: Participate in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, or other transactions, providing strategic legal advice and guidance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal guidance and support for business initiatives and projects, communicating complex legal concepts effectively.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs on legal and compliance topics, ensuring that our team members have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
Required Qualifications
  • Law Degree: A law degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Admission to the Bar: Admission to the state bar or equivalent professional qualification is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal advisory role is required.
  • Skills and Qualities: Proven experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and review, strong understanding of corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance, excellent legal research and analytical skills, ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively, and strong attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.
