Job Overview

As a Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist with APPS Paramedical Services, you will be responsible for conducting health screenings for individuals seeking life and disability insurance. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct health screenings, including blood draws and EKGs, in a professional and efficient manner
  • Document medical history and physical measurements accurately and thoroughly
  • Collect and prepare blood and urine specimens for shipping
  • Perform EKGs using a portable machine
  • Meet with clients to discuss medical history and obtain necessary information
  • Work independently and responsibly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
  • Phlebotomy training and experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Cell phone and computer with internet access
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
