Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Aide to join our team. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, supporting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with ambulation and mobility, using walkers or wheelchairs as needed
  • Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, as well as assist with feeding patients when necessary
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including light housekeeping tasks and infection control measures
  • Document patient care and progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
  • Comfortable providing care in a variety of settings, including patients' homes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and composure in challenging situations
