Job Overview
">We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of windows-based servers and systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing server infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the reliability and security of the Windows environment.
">About the Role
">Your primary responsibilities will include administering and maintaining windows-based server infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and implementing optimization strategies to ensure performance and reliability. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and SOPs.
">Key Requirements

- Administer and maintain windows-based server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and patch management">
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure performance and reliability">
- Experience in windows-based systems, such as windows 2008/2012R2/2016R2">
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and SOPs">
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness by implementing appropriate backup and restoration strategies">
- Support the mitigation and assessment of vulnerabilities">
- Perform regular system backup and recovery procedures">
- Manage user accounts, active directories, and group policies">
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local and wide area network applications, including software development tools and operating systems">
Requirements

- Active secret clearance is required">
- Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship">
- This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule">
- Telework: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance and be available to work onsite at the customer's discretion">
- This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent">
- 7+ years of experience supporting windows or related experience is required">
- Desired: Certified in Microsoft MCSA and MCSE">

Compensation
">The estimated annual salary range for this role is $60,000 - $110,000, depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
