Responsibilities- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Take vital signs and document findings in the patient record
- Review annual wellness questionnaires with patients
- Administer immunizations
- Monitor messages and relay clinician responses via phone calls
- Enter orders for laboratory services
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with or without certification (AAMA or AMT)
- Current LPN (MN and WI license required) or Graduate of an accredited EMT program plus current EMT license (national and Minnesota)
- Current CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- One year medical assistant or LPN experience in a clinic
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record software
