Job Summary:

As a Medical Scribe at Stillwater Medical, you will play a vital role in facilitating patient flow through the Physician Clinic and ensuring accurate and complete medical records. You will assist the medical provider by accompanying them during office visits and capturing medical history and exam details into the electronic medical record. Additionally, you will assist with coordinating department resources, including tests, orders, follow-up visits, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany medical providers during office visits and accurately capture medical history and exam details into the electronic medical record.
  • Assist with coordinating department resources, including tests, orders, follow-up visits, and referrals.
  • Ensure accurate and complete medical records for each patient.

Requirements:
  • Computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Loyal in matters relating to the office.
  • Awareness of the need for discretion and keeping confidential matters relating to patients and their problems.
