About the Job
As a Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse with Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department and medical-surgical department. Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will provide care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Your duties will include determining priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. You will also communicate with medical providers about changes in patient's status, symptoms, and results of diagnostic studies. Additionally, you will be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited LPN nursing program, and current licensure in Oregon as an LPN. You must also have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) Certification and Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills are also essential for this position. The estimated salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
