Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team at the Defense Intelligence Agency. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting and leading performance audits in reviews of Federal programs and activities. You will develop impactful findings and recommendations to address highly complex or sensitive audits objectives that compel action by stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and lead performance audits in reviews of Federal programs and activities.
  • Develop impactful findings and recommendations to address highly complex or sensitive audits objectives that compel action by stakeholders.
  • Evaluate progress against established goals, objectives, and timelines to proactively make necessary adjustments.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to compose and deliver responses to complex questions in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
  • Identify ways to facilitate cooperation and knowledge sharing across organizations to advance projects and goals.
Requirements
  • Must have a degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience that provided professional accounting knowledge.
  • Must have a certificate as a Certified Internal Auditor or a Certified Public Accountant, obtained through written examination, or completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial coursework in auditing or accounting.
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience in performance auditing, or an equivalent combination of performance auditing experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional auditing knowledge.
