Adjunct Faculty Positions in Health and Wellness Studies

Binghamton University is seeking highly qualified Adjunct Instructors to join our team in the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Division of Health and Wellness Studies. We are looking for individuals with expertise in various areas of health and wellness, including nutrition, exercise science, athletic training, community/public health, health promotion, stress management, aquatics, cycling, strength and conditioning, yoga, tai chi, martial arts, and self-defense.
Responsibilities- Teach general education courses and courses in the Health and Wellness Studies Minor
- Develop and implement curriculum in health and wellness-related fields
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental decision-making
- Master's degree in a related field (PhD preferred)
- 2+ years of teaching experience in higher education, health and wellness, or nutrition
- Certifications from ACSM, CHES, Registered Dietitian (RD), or equivalent
- Experience teaching in online environments
- Knowledge of innovative classroom teaching methods
- Relevant exercise and wellness-related certifications
- Membership in professional organizations
