About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Systems Analyst to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing our hospital billing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to focus on standardized best practice workflow processes and content to ensure alignment across all ministries.
  • Develop and implement medium to high complexity activities of assigned software, including collaborating with customers, contributing to analysis, testing, and documentation.
  • Provide application support and optimization, working closely with the Service Desk to assist in responding to service requests.
  • Analyze business issues/requirements and workflows, applying application knowledge to meet operational and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with Technical Team to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues that have resulted in application issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with end-user communities, customers, and business partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and share knowledge with Operational Leaders.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred with a focus in healthcare, business, or information systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with 2+ years within healthcare, business, or information systems.
  • Strong technical proficiency in application-specific design and configuration.
  • Excellent customer service skills and highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present complex data in a meaningful method, including charts and graphs.
