Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in Valencia, CA.

This is a 2nd Shift Opportunity, Monday to Friday, with possible OT on Saturdays.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with injection molding machines and tooling.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
  • Knowledge of molding machine operations and pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and maintaining production of injection molding machines.
  • Utilizing hoists to change molds efficiently.
  • Generating first articles and performing material switches.
  • Managing multiple programs in the controller.
  • Verifying tooling, instructions, and materials before use.
  • Performing process verification prior to job commencement.
  • Operating forklifts and cranes to safely transport molds.
  • Responsible for mold changes and machine adjustments.
  • Ability to set up and tear down molds from machines.
  • Conducting minor repairs and changing inserts.
  • Loading processes into the machine, start-up, and shut down.

The pay range for this position is $20-26/hr, based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
