Job Title: Invoice Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Invoice Specialist to join our team at C2 Essentials. As an Invoice Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our semi-monthly and monthly invoicing processes, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit Time & Material (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CCPFF), and other company awarded contracts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work closely with the contracts department to set up projects within Deltek Costpoint and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Manage data and monitor unbilled balances.
  • Create and process Credit Memos for rejected invoices.
Requirements:
  • Three-plus years of experience in Account Receivables.
  • Thorough understanding of Deltek Costpoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret billing guidelines and identify billing discrepancies.
  • Experience with the government's secure electronic invoicing system, iRAPT (formerly WAWF).
  • Ivalua and OnPoint experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
