Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Retail Development Sourcing or Procurement.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and strategic business acumen.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a focus on both quantitative and qualitative assessments.

  • Experience in managing bid processes (RFI, RFP, and informal bids), vendor negotiations, contract drafting, and implementation.
  • Background in commodity management.
  • Adept at generating and analyzing reports, as well as producing correspondence and statistical documentation.
  • Experience in product launches, extending beyond desk-based sourcing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills. Driven by results, strategy, and hands-on execution.
  • Creative and calculated risk-taker, skilled in managing supply chain challenges and resolving supplier conflicts while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational and program management expertise.
  • Proficient in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Smartsheet, ShareFile, and ERP systems (SAP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with project and operations teams to foster collaborative partnerships and identify qualified suppliers to meet project expectations and timelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to source Owner Furnished Items (OFI); assess bid packages, scope documentation, and manage changes for various categories including graphics, equipment, fixtures, and more.
  • Perform comprehensive financial and spending analyses to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Conduct market and supplier evaluations to uncover opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Develop RFQs and RFPs, review and analyze vendor quotations, and formulate strategic sourcing recommendations that balance cost, quality, lead-time, and technical specifications.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and act as a procurement advisor on projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee the complete RFP process for assigned projects, from initial due diligence to final contract negotiations, ensuring the selection of the best supplier based on quality, service, capability, and price.
  • Compile, produce, and present RFP findings to management.
