Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain thorough medical histories from patients.
  • Perform physical exams, adhering to established protocols.
  • Diagnose and treat chronic diseases within established guidelines.
  • Order diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Prescribe or recommend medications within protocol guidelines.
  • Provide preventive health screenings and immunizations for children and adults.
  • Promote healthy lifestyle habits through education and counseling.
  • Assist with office surgeries and ensure patient charts are signed off by the supervising physician within 7 days.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and make follow-up calls to monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient flow.
  • Consult with the supervising physician regarding patient symptoms to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant training program.
  • TN State PA License required.
  • BLS certification.

Compensation

$52.12 - $58.11 per hour.
