Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Live Sound Technician to oversee and operate audio systems during various live events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the audio production team throughout live events.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sound engineers.
- Design and plan audio system configurations, including speaker arrangements and equipment setup.
- Set up, adjust, and operate audio devices such as microphones, mixers, and soundboards.
- Monitor and resolve audio feed issues in real-time during events.
- Collaborate with video, lighting, and other technical teams for cohesive production.
- Dismantle and maintain audio equipment after events.
- Build and sustain client relationships, handling contracts and proposals.
- Ensure adherence to audio production standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in live audio production and engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of audio formats, mixing techniques, and sound reinforcement.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of audio professionals.
- Proficient in using audio equipment and software.
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Experience in managing and negotiating contracts and proposals.
- Familiarity with compliance in audio production standards.
