About the Role:

The Clinical Quality Assurance Manager is a key position within the Johns Hopkins Medicine Office of Population Health (OPH), responsible for leading clinical operations and quality assurance processes across the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standard work processes to ensure operational efficiency and quality service provision.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, track, and trend operational and quality issues, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Investigate and resolve significant clinical issues, adverse patient outcomes, and other institutional patient safety and quality issues.
  • Maintain quality assurance processes for ambulatory care management, behavioral health, community health, and ambulatory pharmacy within the scope of OPH operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing; Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of risk management, patient safety and/or quality improvement experience.
  • Active RN licensure in the state of Maryland; with the ability to obtain additional jurisdictions as needed.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or nursing practice to include NE-BC, NPD-BC, CMGT-BC preferred.
