About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Davit Technician to join our team at Fairbanks Morse Defense. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic davit systems on naval vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and maintain hydraulic davit systems on naval vessels
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on davit systems and other equipment
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical issues and improve processes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a related field, including 2 years of experience with hydraulic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time
