Job Title: Loan Officer

Location: Crowley, La.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or a related field
  • Two (2) or more years of experience as a loan officer or loan officer associate
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
  • Evaluates and authorizes loans within designated authority limits
  • Develops and oversees loan portfolios in assigned areas
  • Provides assistance to borrowers regarding credit requirements and solutions to credit challenges
  • Conducts credit assessments, loan servicing activities, and collections
ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • May carry out appraisals, inspections, and evaluations of collateral
  • Support public relations initiatives for the organization
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • General understanding of accounting and financial systems
  • Specialized knowledge of finance and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in both oral and written communication
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Engagements with clients, departmental personnel, and management
  • Occasional interactions with senior management and industry professionals
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for varying durations
  • Frequent hand manipulation and occasional lifting required
POLICY AND COMPLIANCE:
  • Adherence to technology and security protocols
