Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field assessments of food pantries and community kitchens to verify compliance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management and recommend necessary improvements based on observations.
  • Oversee the Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP) to ensure adherence to local regulations and quality service delivery.
  • Disseminate food support resources to emergency food providers, ensuring suitability for diverse community needs.
  • Gather and evaluate both qualitative and quantitative data to generate comprehensive reports on service effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed documentation of site visits, outlining services rendered and identifying areas for enhancement.

Work Environment

This position is based in a collaborative office setting, with regular travel to various program sites.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three years of relevant administrative experience, including one year in a supervisory role.
  2. An associate degree or 60 college credits along with four years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity.
  3. A high school diploma or equivalent with five years of relevant administrative experience, including one year in a supervisory role.

Additional education may substitute for experience as outlined.
