Pulmonology APRN or PA Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner in Pulmonology to join our team at the Florida Medical Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing medical assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory conditions under the supervision of a licensed physician. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' health histories, perform physical assessments, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Diagnose and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including pulmonary diseases and disorders.
  • Manage patient care, provide health education, and counsel patients on disease management and prevention.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to Meaningful Use standards.
Requirements:
  • Licensed APRN or PA with Board Certification in Pulmonology or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in pulmonary medicine or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic medical records.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
