Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to lead our HVAC Truck Based Service team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving customer account growth, executing service business strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute customer account plans to drive labor and material growth
  • Manage customer relationships and satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution
  • Set and monitor goals for customer account gross margin delivery and profitability
  • Lead the execution of assigned service business, including warranty-related customer issues
  • Procure and maintain fleet and tools inventory
  • Ensure consistency of delivery systems through supervision and audits of technicians and customer service agents
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, and staffing levels
  • Conduct formal performance reviews and address related issues
  • Ensure safety performance and program compliance
Requirements
  • Technical school training or equivalent experience in the HVAC or building controls industry
  • Three or more years of management experience in a similar service deliverable environment
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and negotiating skills
  • Demonstrated competence in writing and verbal communication skills
  • Basic financial accounting experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products and basic Windows environment
  • Diploma in Electronic or Mechanical Systems
  • Two years prior experience in the HVAC or building controls industry
  • Five plus years in a service management role directing a similar service deliverable team
