YOUR ROLE AS A REMODELING PROJECT MANAGER - LEAD CARPENTER

In this role, you will work a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. As a Remodeling Project Manager - Lead Carpenter, you will ensure that projects run smoothly while adhering to our high-quality standards. With your leadership experience and advanced carpentry skills, you will manage daily tasks for our interior remodeling projects. You will collaborate with sales team members to discuss project scopes with homeowners, utilizing software to create and manage timelines effectively while maintaining budgetary constraints.

Your responsibilities will include scheduling and supervising trade partners, fostering positive relationships on job sites, and maintaining client communication by providing updates and addressing inquiries. As a proactive problem solver, you will swiftly tackle any challenges that arise.

While you will focus on project management, you will also engage in hands-on tasks, including demolition, framing, flooring, finish carpentry, and cabinet installation. Occasionally, you may perform minor painting or tile work. You will ensure job sites are clean, schedule necessary inspections, and conduct walkthroughs with homeowners upon project completion. Your goal is to create spaces that feel like home for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of cabinet installation experience
  • Several years of experience in the construction field
  • Advanced carpentry skills, including framing and finish carpentry
  • Experience in team management
  • Familiarity with working alongside skilled trade partners
  • Knowledge of residential building codes
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to tow a trailer

A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory. Additional construction experience and familiarity with other trades such as plumbing, electrical work, painting, tiling, or drywall installation are advantageous.
