Position: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Location: Managed Staffing

Shift: 2nd Shift - 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Position Summary:
We are looking for a committed Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to enhance our Shipping and Receiving Team/Stockroom operations. This position is crucial for orchestrating activities, generating shipping documentation for external clients or other facilities, and ensuring the completion of deliveries within our business system. The Coordinator will also be responsible for managing outbound freight logistics, conducting audits for export shipments, and adhering to safety compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and verify records for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Generate shipping documentation, such as packing lists, bills of lading, and address labels.
  • Ensure that inventories are secure, accurately identified, and readily accessible.
  • Oversee outbound freight coordination for carriers and audit all export shipments.
  • Confirm the completion of deliveries in the business system.
  • Collaborate with other departments regarding logistics coordination and contract management.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Education & Experience:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent relevant education and work experience.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Shipping and Receiving management processes.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both internal and external.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • Problem-solving capabilities to assess and select solutions from established options.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information:

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is essential.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and additional hours as necessary.
