Your Impact
We are looking for a Strategic Transformation Architect to join our Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team, focusing on the most intricate commercial pursuits within AWS.
You will leverage your extensive experience in steering global technology strategies for enterprise clients, defining strategic technology initiatives, and integrating multiple solutions to create a comprehensive customer vision.
Key Responsibilities
As a recognized expert and thought leader in complex business-IT transformations, you will:
- Collaborate with senior customer executives (CIO and CTO) to establish a unified vision and architecture aligned with the transformation strategy.
- Engage in pursuits that encompass various Amazon business sectors.
- Define comprehensive, outcome-based solutions in partnership with sales, strategy, and business development teams.
- Ensure that multiple solutions are cohesive, adhere to enterprise architecture standards, utilize common solutions and services, and achieve financial objectives.
- Act as the AWS executive technical sponsor for strategic transformation initiatives.
- Engage with system integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs), and other partners while providing oversight.
- Develop board-ready presentations that articulate the transformation strategy, solution vision, and value proposition.
- Present the strategy and vision to C-suite executives, including the CEO, COO, CFO, CIO, and CTO.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership teams and the Field Sales organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Amazon and partners, including legal, product, engineering, architecture, structuring, and professional services to facilitate successful pursuits.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in building and implementing technical infrastructure and services, or consulting experience advising such operations.
- 5+ years in a technical leadership role (e.g., CTO, Head of Technology, Engineering/Technology Director, General Manager, Principal Solutions Architect, Lead Architect/Engineer).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade architectures for Fortune 1000 companies.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
- Broad technology experience including cloud computing, applications development, DevOps, IoT, databases, analytics, networking, security, and management.
- Visible IT industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to enterprise IT infrastructure and adoption.
- Experience in driving and successfully closing large complex deals in a highly matrixed organization.
- International technical sales and delivery experience with global enterprise customers and partners.
- Utilization of AWS services in distributed environments with Enterprise Software.
