Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient enforcement of parking regulations in the City of Aspen. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of local laws and regulations, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce parking regulations in designated areas, including issuing citations and towing vehicles as necessary
  • Provide assistance to motorists, tourists, and locals with questions or concerns regarding parking
  • Collaborate with other city departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate records and data related to parking enforcement activities
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in customer service, public contact, or code enforcement
  • Valid Colorado driver's license required; ability to obtain within 30 days of start date
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk up to eight miles per day, and work in various weather conditions
Salary:

$24.47 - $32.72 per hour, depending on level and experience
