Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cable Dispatcher to support our Field Technicians in an office-based environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Cable Dispatcher will be responsible for routing and updating work order requests from customers and office personnel, communicating with Field Service Technicians, and monitoring the progress of assigned work. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to lift over 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Field Technicians via email and phone
  • Update and create work orders/tickets for Field Technicians
  • Manage technician routes using ICOMS, TOA, and Remedy
  • Answer incoming calls from customers and Field Technicians
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and submit turnovers to Supervisors for approval

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the Telecommunications or Cable Dispatching industry (training can be provided)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
