Mental Health Technician

The Admissions Mental Health Technician is a vital member of our team at Central Florida Behavioral Hospital, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in the Intake Department. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Observation and Monitoring: Our Mental Health Technician will be responsible for closely monitoring patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Facilitating Therapeutic Groups: This role involves facilitating groups that promote therapeutic growth and development among patients.
- Conducting Searches and Securing Contraband: Our Mental Health Technician will be responsible for conducting thorough searches and securing any contraband found on patients or in their belongings.
- Assisting with Daily Living Skills: This role requires assisting patients with daily living skills, such as personal hygiene and grooming.
- Patient Behavior and Milieu Management: Our Mental Health Technician will be responsible for managing patient behavior and maintaining a positive milieu within the hospital.
- Documentation in the Patient Record: Accurate and timely documentation is crucial in this role, as it ensures that patient information is up-to-date and accessible to healthcare professionals.
