We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Crown Point Surgery Center. As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients pre-operatively and post-operatively to identify their individual needs and develop a plan of care.
- Implement the plan of care using evidence-based practices and interventions to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide education to patients and their families on post-operative care and management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- One year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in a surgical center or hospital.
- Advanced life support certification, such as ACLS or PALS.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team.
We offer a competitive salary range of $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
