Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a medical office setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Patient Care Plans: Create and implement individualized patient care plans based on comprehensive assessments to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Provide Patient Education: Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Delegate Patient Care: Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program: Must be a graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • State Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification and ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Experience: 6 months of nursing experience.
