Compassionate Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join our team at Bethesda Health.


About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide essential patient care, including support for hygiene, nutrition, and mobility, while adhering to established guidelines. They will also document patient information accurately, assist with vital signs and administer treatments as directed by the Charge Nurse.


Responsibilities:
  • Maintain patient dignity and comfort through excellent interpersonal skills
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Charge Nurse
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care

Requirements:
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of employment
  • CPR certification required, or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
  • High school diploma preferred, but not required
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule to meet productivity standards
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary
